It's been another great week in first grade here at Rover! The kids seem to be getting comfortable with one another and used to our classroom routines! On Monday we will start Walk to Read. We will be switching classes for reading each morning for two hours. Your child's Walk to Read teacher will also handout a homework packet on Monday. Homework will always be given on Monday and due on Friday!
I hope to see you all at Curriculum Night on Wednesday, August 19th! We will be going over important information and it would be great if you could attend! The sessions are either from 5:00-5:30 OR 5:30-6:00!
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you for the supplies donated and support I have received these first two weeks! I know we are going to have a great year together, I am so excited to have such a wonderful group of parents!
Here are some pictures from our first two weeks! :)
